Before the Season Ends...


Fry up a batch of okra!
These beauties were purchased at the Pepper Place Farmer's Market. 
Rinse and pat dry.


All you need is one egg, one cup of flour, a sprinkle of salt & Canola oil.
Whisk egg in one bowl and mix flour & salt into another bowl.


Chop okra into one-inch pieces.


Put flour mixture onto a plate. 
Dip okra into egg, then roll into the flour mixture.
Pour oil into a large frying pan. 
Turn up heat to medium.


In small batches, fry okra until it turns a light brown color.
Place on a paper towel to cool.


Salt lightly and .... ENJOY!
